Chemical plant act 2 speed route

hey guys i'm new here and i just started playing sonic 2 a couple days ago, but in chemical plant i'm stuck with 23's and 24's. the route i take is in the following link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sfwa6na_YiU   If anybody has any suggestions that would be great

1. That is really bad music.
2. That is chemical plant act -1-
3. You probably need to catch an earlier block cycle. Or add a spindash at the end somewhere.

faster spindashing+ jumping off slopes when they start to go down.

Also I'm pretty sure it's faster to take the top route at 0:11 (from the ramp). Or maybe not, since that's what I've been using and my best is 23.

haha cam old buddy, that is a video of act 1. anyways, look at stanski's video and notice how he uses every downhill slope to his advantage (particularly at the start) this saves precious seconds. And to "ring rush", we are not here to criticize people's music, and he caught the earliest block cycle there is to catch, thanks though.

yea my bad, i meant act 1 and i've seen stanski's vid and its a 22, i wanna see how he did a 20.
and if u dont like the song i'm not sorry just mute it, the program i use doesnt record the sound w/ the video

I'd suggest not rolling at about 0:08 so you can do an uphill jump to save some time at 0:09. Also suggest jumping at 0:23 to start running, rather than lose momentum on a flat surface while rolling.

yea that uphill jump is kinda hard, but i found out that u can beat the cycle thats how a 20 is possible. i'm pretty close to beating it though, i got a couple 22's the other day

Sorry for not being on for a while.  I think that jumping down slopes and spindashing faster has helped me beat a game faster in a day =D
